About the company:

Gooitech is a relatively new company that creates software and hardware
products used in wireless electronic commerce. Our claim to fame is
wireless automated teller machine (ATM) technology. We are growing
quickly. Like most start-up companies, there was no documentation when I
got here and I now need help. We offer competitive salaries and
benefits.

About the position:

We are looking for an technical writer with 1 to 6 years of experience.
Our output is currently hardcopy, but it will be exported to WinHelp,
HTML, and PDF. It doesn't matter what word processor or publishing
software you have used in the past, but you need to know how to use
templates with style sheets. Strong writing skills are most important. A
definite plus is knowledge of banking technology, networking, or
telecommunications.

Even though we need a full-time technical writer, that person may be
asked to wear a trainer's hat occasionally and travel to customer sites
to deliver customer training. Some of the travel may be international.

What you must do:

Please reply to me directly with a resume if you are interested in
working the Chicago area. You can send a file attachment in Word or
ASCII format to my email address. You must also be able to provide
writing samples either by standard mail or email after we contact you.
