Subject:New this week on the TECHWR-L Web site From:Deborah Ray <debray -at- RAYCOMM -dot- COM> Date:Mon, 30 Mar 1998 08:44:12 -0700
Hi, folks!
Just to keep you posted on the TECHWR-L Web site:
WHAT'S NEW
* Contractor Database Results Listing Fixed:
Mystery solved! The results list did not
provide a "View Next Results" button to get
to the last results page. The problem? A
nit-picky coding error (whoops!).
* New additions to the Books List:
Thanks to Sally Yeo and Nancy Hickman for
submitting suggestions for the Books List.
Check out the additions at http://www.raycomm.com/techwhirl/books.htm.
* New addition to the Resources page:
Thanks to Gurudutt Kamath for providing two
new technical communication resources! Visit
the revised Resources page at http://www.raycomm.com/techwhirl/resources.htm.
* New addition to the Topics page:
Thanks to John Glenn for submitting a topic
summary on Office 95/97 (Can they coexist?).
You can access this summary at http://www.raycomm.com/techwhirl/topics.htm.
NOTE
Thanks to all who submitted suggestions for
the Topics, Books, and Resources pages. If you
submitted a suggestion this week and didn't
see it in the above WHAT'S NEW info above, check later
this week. I'm adding new content to the site in
the order received.
WHAT'S COMING UP NEXT
* Meet TECHWR-L's first Student of the Month, a
new TECHWR-L site feature that will appear on
the Education page.
* Look for a new Resources link on every TECHWR-L
page. With this change, you'll be able to access
tech. writing resources (Web sites, books, related
archives, etc.) from any TECHWR-L page.
That's all for now. As always, I welcome new content
for the Topics, Books, and Resources pages, as well as
suggestions for the site.
