Hello,

I am facing a major dilemma!! I'm looking for a Word95/Word97 expert's
(someone who has used both extensively) opinion on whether to upgrade to
Word97. I'm getting a new PC (300Mhz, 64MB RAM, etc.) next week that comes
with Office 97 Small Business Edition installed. I hesitate removing
Word97 and then installing Word95. I'm using RoboHELP 4.0 with Word 95,
which has been a very, very stable configuration for me!!

I'm thinking of buying RH5 (again - I've already returned it once because
it was sooooo unstable on my Gateway 133). I have the RH4 version (4.097)
that Blue Sky says works with Word97, but I'm not sure I want to use
Word97. I've heard a few bad stories about the first Word97 with its other
previous version compatibility problems, etc. I'm also in the middle of
two Word95/RH4 projects now. Does Word97 have that Word95 doesn't? Is the
Word97 file structure totally different than the Word95 structure? Must
you save any Word95 files first in .RTF format before openining them in
Word97? What's the ripple effect of that? Any other special situations or
limitations I should be aware of? What kind of problems does this cause?
etc. etc. etc. Is it worth trying Word97????

Would you please pass this message on to any Word expert(s) you know.
Thank you very, very much for your time.
