Quark, Inc. is looking for a technically-savvy marketing writer for its
client/server software team. The ideal person for this contract position is a
creative professional who can communicate highly technical information to a
diverse audience persuasively and accurately.
The marketing writer will be responsible for creating a cohesive set of
marketing materials for a variety of media. These materials may include
technical white papers, brochures, press releases, Web pages, articles, and
advertisements.
Candidates must be able to collaborate effectively with technical experts,
editors, designers, and other writers under strict deadlines. Strong computer
knowledge is a requirement--you will need to work with the products you're
writing about. Knowledge of client/server computing will put you ahead of the
crowd.
You must have excellent writing skills and experience writing marketing,
public relations, or advertising material to qualify for this position.
