Jacqueline,

Your problem sounds like it might have to do with color palattes. If you use up
the total number of colors available to a GIF (216) and then load another
picture on the same page, the send will have to use colors from the first,
causing some very strange substitutions.

You need to reduce the number of colors (color depth) you are using in each
image as low as you can, perhaps 50 or so. You also need to use the same palatte
for all images. Check PaintShopPro's site -- www.uasc.com -- for some
information. PaintShopPro and PhotoShop can both import and manipulate images.
Just importing or converting an image is not sufficient.
