Okay. I'm brand new to this list and this has been a fun--and
diverting--intro. My all-time favorite is a banner headline from about 20
years ago (this is probably not it exactly, but close enough):
Riot Police Diffused More Than 100 Bombs Yesterday
This is real--for years I had the page up on the bulletin board over my
desk. Don't now recall what paper it was from, though.
