When I was working 1099 for KTI, I got a very detailed questionnaire from
the IRS asking how many hours I worked on the client site, what equipment I
used, etc. I gather they sent these to a number of KTI's contractors. I
never heard anything more on it, but I don't know what impact it had on the
consulting firm.
