Subject:HELP - Bad contract wording? From:David Boss <bosscomm -at- INTERLOG -dot- COM> Date:Mon, 8 Sep 1997 10:35:36 -0500
Many thank to the 15 or so of you who responded to my question of
contract wording; you confirmed what I felt, that the wording was
unacceptable.
Just to let you know the result, I called the HR guy who drew up the
contract this morning, told him I had a problem with the wording of that
particular section, and asked whether it could be removed or rewritten.
His response was "Oh, just cross it out. It's always been in our
standard contract so we leave it in although we know it isn't
enforceable any more anyway."
Always pays to ask . . .
Thanks again.
David
