I recently needed to place diagrams in landscape view in a Word doc, but
wanted to keep the headers and footers in their portrait positions.

I created the diagrams in CorelDraw (portrait layout), then rotated them
90 degrees before exporting. Inserted into Word, the resulting images
looked just right.
