My favorite for Windows-based software that has a well-designed Online
Help file.

CD-size booklets. 32 pages. Fit right into the CD jewelbox. Customers
love them and actually use them according to the feedback that my
at-home clients receive.

At work we don't use much CD-distributed software, so it doesn't apply
here.
