I'm so thrilled with all these replies! Anyway, I received phone calls,
faxes, emails, and hopefully someone might knock at my door!!!! This is
great!
Since I receive "a bunch" of replies, it will take me a while to selct the
candidate.
many of you asked: what's the project? deadline, etc.
Let me explain what we do: We receive let's say 100 pages to be translated
from Brazilian Portuguese into English. We do have a deadline, (usually met
24 hours prior to deadline) and then we "proofread" meaning: go through and
try to find gramar errors, punctuation, etc.... and whoever we hire will be
on a contract basis, because we don't have a justifiable volume to keep the
individual busy on a full time basis.
I hope this gave an idea to all of you inquiring about the proofreading job.
Thanks to all of you!!!!!!
Take care!
