Subject:Updating graphics links in Word From:Gen Whitt <Gen -dot- Whitt -at- SDINC -dot- COM> Date:Wed, 16 Jul 1997 13:27:46 -0700
Eric Peterson posted a message to the list on 9 July with regard to a
problem of updating graphics links in Word when the location of the
graphics had changed.
Graphics links can easily be updated using search and replace to change the
path.
Field codes have to be turned on (Tools... Options... View tab, Field Codes
checkbox). Then just do a global search and replace. Highlight the whole
document, update links (Edit, Links, Update), save, and you're done.
Remember that the pathnames have to have the double backslash (\\) in place
of the usual single backslash.
