A friend of mine regularly uses the 24-hour Kinkos outlet here in
Vancouver. Since he works two and a half full-time jobs, the only
chances he usually gets to do this stuff is late at night, and frankly,
Kinkos is the only option. He's created and maintains a 30-some-page
catalog for his girlfriend's mail-order business in PageMaker. Works
on it on both their Mac and PC systems. Drops the files to a ZIP disk,
takes it down to Kinkos, blasts off a nice 1200dpi master, then gives
those to them to make a few dozen copies. Takes a couple hours, all
told, and they've never had a complaint with the quality.
Your friend and mine,
Matt
