The game plan for the moment is to gather information.

1. Talk with the local chapter about what they see student roles as being
in relation to the chapter and find out how many student members there are
in the chapter. If that doesn't work than go the next step and contact the
director-sponsor.

2. Talk with the faculty and staff in the department about forming a
student technical communication organization that may or may not be STC
related.

3. Begin talking with the students who would be interested in a technical
communication organization about what kind of things they would want to see
happen with a student organization.This would include:
*meeting times
*what kind of information/presentations they would want to see presented at
meetings
*what kinds of presentations they want to give
*Other events/ideas that we might want to consider.
