Hi and thanks for your messages.

I certainly tested the waters with that posting, eh?

Although my
posting was highly critical ( and deservedly so), I did allow that
that the organization (KTI) may have changed for the better since my
experience with them. The private responses I've received have been
more positive. I agree with Eric that we don't wish to discourage
companies from posting, but we also need a forum to frankly express
our opinions and experiences. The list is for *US* -- and none of us
should have to fear "black-listing"by potential employers for posting frank
opinions on this list. It's a wonderful added bonus if a would-be employer
wishes to court us in *our * arena, but none of us should have to
censor our discussions for fear of retribution. How else can we
effect change in the industry or raise professional standards if we
cringe timidly in the face of ill-treatment? I sure wish someone had
clued me in about the various agencies in town when I started out.

Doesn't Ross Squires have class? Kudos for adding to the dialog in
a positive manner. Proves the point about free speech.

Nice to hear that Ross is still active on the scene after moving to
NY. He's always had an excellent reputation and I'm not the least bit
surprised to hear he's doing well in the Big Apple. Perhaps if he
had still been minding the shop, DDI/KTI Boston would have been a
different type of place.
