Subject:Trademarks for Other Companies' Products From:"Melinda M. Carr" <melindac -at- CAPSOFT -dot- COM> Date:Fri, 25 Apr 1997 15:34:25 -0700
How do you handle trademarks for other companies' products in your
documentation? Do you include the trademark or registered trademark
symbol in the text? Do you include a page that lists the trademarks of
all the products you mention and who owns them? Do you include a blanket
statement somewhere that says brand and product names are the trademarks
or registered trademarks of their respective owners and leave it at
that?
We're writing an in-house style guide and aren't sure how to resolve
this issue.
