< I've created a doc in using Word 7, and I've noticed that for soft
page breaks, Word is ignoring the Space Before formatting for the
first paragraph on the next page. If I change the page break to a
hard page break, then everything is OK. Unfortunately, inserting
hard page breaks throughout a document that's a work in progress is
obviously a bad idea.

break before" paragraph formatting instead of hard page breaks. This

everything should come out the same.
Hi Bob,
I noticed the same problem. Even after setting the Tools options to
repress space after a soft page break in Word 7,Word doesn't implememt
the option. Anybody have any ideas? Manually re-working each page by
either changing the paragraph format or by inserting breaks throughout
the doc is a poor solution.
