Confessions of a framesophobe:

I visited Peter Ring's "User Friendly Manuals Website"
(http://www.pip.dknet.dk/~pip323/index.html) after he posted earlier
this week about VCR manuals. My initial dismay on seeing the
browser window shatter into frames gave way to delight when I saw
the "Kill frames!" selection in the right-hand column. One click
on "Kill frames!" and I was happily surfing through Peter's site.
(It's a good site, BTW. I recommend it.)

May I humbly offer this advice to web-page designers: If you use
frames -- and I admit that sometimes there are good reasons for doing
so -- please be thoughtful enough to include a frames-free option....
And not just for browsers that don't support frames.

Thank you, Peter, for allowing me to exercise my freedom of choice!
