Yes, it's true. Some programmers actually *ask* writers for feedback. At
my company, it is quite common for programmers to show writers UI
designs, error messages, etc., and ask for feedback, which is usually
implemented. Maybe it's because the company president/head of
development is a programmer with a master's in instructional design.
No, the company's not perfect. We have our Dilbert days just like
everyone else. But the relationship between writers and programmers is
one of things that keeps me here and happy.
