Julie Coiron asked about books on how technical communicators use the
Internet.

To my knowledge, there isn't a book on this topic yet. There is, however, a
special issue of _Technical Communication_ (4Q96) titled "Technical
Communication in Cyberspace" containing 9 excellent articles on the
subject. The issue was co-edited by Laura Gurak and Christine Silker of the
University of Minnesota, and contains an article by our listowner, Eric
Ray, on TECHWR-L. This issue would be a good starting point for Julie and
others interested in the topic. If you're not an STC member, contact the
STC office (pubs -at- stc-va -dot- org); copies are US$25 (US$33.75 overseas).
