KBM Group has an immediate opening for a technical writer with the following
background and qualifications:
* BA/BS in Technical Communication, English, or related degree
* 2+ years of experience writing software documentation
* Experience using FrameMaker strongly preferred
* familiarity with network terminology helpful
The major tasks for this position include writing Windows-based online help
and hardcopy documentation for a Windows-based network monitoring system. In
addition, you'll formalize the standards and documentation methodology used
to develop these information products. This position is a great opportunity
for the right person. The atmosphere is fast-paced, casual, and has
significant potential for future growth. This position needs to be filled as
soon as possible due to an internal promotion. The salary range for this
position is in the high 30s to low 40s, based on experience and
qualifications.
