Just an interesting statistic for those who haven't done
some demographic studies recently on those over 45:
this is a quote from the Seattle Times July 24, 1994 (yes,
I kept this to remind myself that things aren't always as
they seem): "The Electronic Industries Association recently
polled attendees at the American Association of Retired
Persons annual convention in Anaheim, Calif. To the
association's surprise, the survey showed 70 percent of the
women and 78 percent of the men owned a personal computer.
That compares with 37 percent of Americans as a whole."
