TechWhirl (TECHWR-L) is a resource for technical writing and technical communications professionals of all experience levels and in all industries to share their experiences and acquire information.
For two decades, technical communicators have turned to TechWhirl to ask and answer questions about the always-changing world of technical communications, such as tools, skills, career paths, methodologies, and emerging industries. The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.
I know this has been discussed on the list before--perhaps someone could
point me toward the archives? --but of course I didn't pay attention
until it affected me personally.
I use references to bitmaps in my Robohelp files, and the bitmaps seem
awfully large (they also take up a lot of memory). Whenever I try to
resize them in Robohelp's toll or in Paint, the get (big technical term
here) all screwed up. I do have CorelDraw and Photopaint--can I use
those tools to resize the graphics? Any ideas out there?
Thanks!
Nora
