No official survey here, but the feedback from our users is that they want the
following in a software manual:
Organized in task order
A detailed index
A glossary
Screen captures
General to specific
Flowcharts, graphics
Clear, concise, comman language usage
Consistancy in the manual sets and in the writing itself
