Global Village Communication is looking for 2 contract writers to document its Windows NT fax server and fax client software. This 3-month project entails planning and writing end-user, installation, system administrator materials, and online help.
Requirements:
- Minimum 4 years? technical writing experience and at least 2 year?s experience developing online help for Windows applications. Experience with client/server communications systems a plus.
- Proficiency in RoboHELP and Word, some experience with FrameMaker.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment is critical.
- Ability to work from program specifications and prototypes.
- Some experience writing for NT and LAN system administrators.
- College degree in English, Journalism, Technical Writing, or related field
