I wish to thank everyone for their advice. I'll take as much as I can get.

Based on the opinions I've read so far, I am convinced that I might become
a fair Technical Writer, once I develop some of the basic skills.
It seems that the field of Technical Writing is much broader than
I orignally thought. I don't have a programming background, so I might stay
away from that area.

I have a strong interest in instruction manual or procedural writing,
policy writing, and law. The common thread would be to take the complex
and reduce it to easily understandable English. Granted, this may mean
a specialized study of that area, but I am anxious to start.

Class starts next week. Wish me luck!
