I agree with all of Kip's comments. The majority of people would not
realise an electrical outlet is a powerpoint not a shop of electrical
goods.

More importantly as an Aussie often using overseas products and manuals
and living in a *different* time zone, please include a fax or email
number in all contact information contained on or in a product.
Unfortunately it seems to be the US companies that are particularly bad
at this. Most people can fax or email internationally, but a lot of
people don't have IDD access on the phone. Also as the time zones are
different, ringing a US company from Sydney, Australia in anything
vaguely in the realm of working hours is impossible.

I speaketh from experience :( (long and frustrating experience)
