We've seen lots of discussion over the past few months about developing on-line
docs in HTML for local/on-site browsers, and several posters have asked for
general-level advice on how to organize such docs, how to use the hypertext
links, and so forth. I thought it might be useful for first-timers to view
a sample:

This particular sample flies in the face of those who argue (some strenuously)
for one-panel-at-a-time presentation--to avoid scrolling, which they contend
is a nuisance. I happen to disagree with that, and this sample is one long
continuous scroll, but with GUI "navigation bars" and section/subsection hyper-
text indices that make it easy (I think) to zoom in and out, or just to browse.
Anyway, not to spark another round in that debate, I just thought some of
my fellow tech-whirlers might be interested in an actual sample. I put it up
on the Web for public viewing as part of my business (tech-comm services) Web
site, so prospective clients can see what I do.
I hope some of you will find it helpful.
