I've just started a new job at which one of the people who'll
guide the documentation has an aversion to using "you" and
contractions in technical documentation. I don't and I would
like to convince people on this without getting into a battle of
preferences.
Does anyone know of any statistics that would prove that my way
is better. (And if you have statistics prooving my way isn't
better, I'll concede until I can get the rest of the world to
think about these things correctly.:-))
