Blueberry's FILTRIX ought to do an order of magnitude better than that.
I'm doing a lot of conversion work for my clients, and my entire goal in
life is to have everything in the original document come over intact into
the new format. No filter is perfect, but you don't have to drop styles,
footnotes, tables, frames, and graphics on the floor! The only thing
that is inherently hostile in Frame is their equation editor.
The majority of my conversion work involves converting Interleaf to Frame.
Tables, styles, vector diagrams, bit-mapped images, and such can all be
converted from one to the other. It takes quite a bit of sneakiness and
black magic to get things to come over without the need for extensive
hand-editing, but there's no reason why these things should be dropped on
the floor entirely.
