We are looking for a dynamic, creative, experienced online communications specialist with strong WinHelp, HTML and graphic design/production skills. Multimedia experience is a plus. Successful candidates can stay committed to a managed publications development process in the midst of rapid applications development.
Qualifications include:
- Self-motivation and initiative
- The ability to work within a team as well as individually
- Well-developed communication skills
- Good sense of and commitment to usability
- Classic and innovative graphic design aesthetics
- Attention to detail and the elements of quality online publications
- Proficiency with Word and WinHelp authoring tools and macros
- Proficiency with graphic conversion and editing tools
- Understanding of file formats and the ability to translate materials among them--formats include Word, RTF, ASCII, PDF, HTML, BMP, WMF, GIF and JPG.
Responsibilities to include:
- Maintaining and updating existing product Help
- Developing auxiliary and custom Help
- Developing online tutorials
- Producing web content
- Linking Help and WWW media
- Developing company online publications standards, style manual and templates
- Providing company-wide writing and editing assistance
- Managing the graphical elements used in publications.
