Subject:Thanks for your help... From:"Kenneth M. Nuckols" <knuck -at- BESTBUY -dot- COM> Date:Tue, 18 Jun 1996 12:37:50 -0500
Greetings,
A few days back I posted a query about the proper way to punctuate
the non-standard phrase "Grab-n-go." I got many responses, and they were
most helpful. For everyone who took time to send a message, thanks. It
seems the consensus of the list was to change to "Grab & go," which I was
chagrined to realize I hadn't thought of myself. This took about 42% of the
votes. Grab-n-go took about 34%, and the other 24% was divided among
alternatives like Grab'n'go, Grab and Go, Grab n' go, and other such
derivatives. The wisdom of the list prevailed upon the others in our group,
and we settled upon "Grab & go." Thanks again for your assistance.
Ken
