The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.
Someone (lost the name, or I'd answer directly) asked about screen
snapshots on the Mac.
They're easy: Command-shift-3 takes a screen snapshot and saves it as a
file on the boot drive's root directory. There's a shareware package,
Flash-it, that does a better job. It's widely available on the Web, just
search for "Flash-it" and you'll find it.
E-mail me directly if you have any more questions.
