Hello citizens,

Can you point me in the direction of
past posts or other information
pertaining to managing and creating
your own firm/business?

Also, I am very interested in
first-hand accounts from technical
consultants who have set up their own
business, but have also worked through
contract houses.

It seems to be that working through
contract houses (as I do now), I can
gross around 55,000 a year. On the
otherhand, when I worked indepedently,
I made 18,000 in 3.5 months, but then
was without business for 2 months
afterwards. At that time, I opted to
for contract houses which seem to
provide better job security. Has
anyone had a similiar experience?

Oh yeah, I've invested about 10,000 in
equipment, so most of my profits as
independent are washed away into
infrastructure. Overall, it seems more
profitable to stay with contract houses
(especially since they tend to demand
less equipment outlays).

Thank you.

my personal e-mail address is:
