I just started following this topic so I apologize if this has already
been given:

So far, I have found the list of superfluous modifiers helpful. With only
one year of real writing experience, my eye still isn't completely trained
to pick up on all of the commonly used redundancies. I'll be sure to post
a listing of these modifiers on my wall to prevent myself from falling into
a redundancy trap. ;-)
