probably nobody on *this* list has ever written such a guide, but it

Probably "obfuscated." Maybe a better word would be "ambiguous?" "Confusing?" Or
some other word -- spelled correctly -- that
has the same meaning, but without the potential confusion. One meaning of
obfuscate is "to make obscure." If the guides
were really "made obscured," one would think it was done on purpose.

But I'm just nit-picking, don't mind me!
