Hello, Emily.

I'd be interested in receiving a copy of the article, if its not too much
problem. (I'm pretty comfortable in deciding when -- and when not -- to
use passive, but it doesn't hurt to read up on the subject).

Thanks,

Subject: Passive voice

I think most of us agree that sometimes passive voice is a good
choice
-- even the best choice -- but usually not in tech writing.

I wrote a short article on this very subject for a recent edition of
my STC chapter newsletter. It discusses appropriate uses for passive
voice and recommends ways to eradicate it from writing when it's not
the best choice.

I'll be glad to e-mail it to anyone who requests.
