Subject:Project Estimates--References From:Laurel Nelson <SPNEL02 -at- DOF-SSP1 -dot- FINANCE -dot- STATE -dot- MN -dot- US> Date:Thu, 28 Dec 1995 09:35:48 CST-360
Regarding estimating project hours, costs, etc., the February 1995
issue of the STC journal has a good article on the subject entitled
"Estimating the Cost of High-quality Documentation," (Volume 42,
Number 1).
Also, the book "Techniques for Technical Communicators" by Carol
Barnum and Saul Carliner has a good chapter on the subject--"Planning
and Tracking a Project" (Chapter 3). Good luck!
