Hi, techwhirlers.
Many thanks to all of you who responded to my problem about the Word 4
file that I couldn't open on any Mac or PC in my office. It turns out
(I think) that the file was corrupted. We solved the problem by having
the file emailed to me. But I learned a great deal about formatting
disks for Macs and PC from all of the posts.
I'm sorry to use this space just to say thanks. I tried to respond
individually but I've been having a little problem with my mail system
and I didn't want it to seem that I was taking this wonderful resource
for granted.
