Just an aside: Much of the data on life expectancy come from an
interesting source -- major-league-baseball records. This is one of the
few extensive databases in which handedness is important enough to
record. One study I read of focussed specifically on pitchers; their
handedness was always a matter of public record. Just thought this might
interest.
