To celebrate Technical Communication Week in Colorado, the Rocky
Mountain Chapter of the Society for Technical Communication will be
sponsoring a special presentation.

The theme is Promoting Science Literacy for the 21st Century . . .
What a Modern Museum Can Teach Us about Teaching Science to the
Public.

Jim Goddard, Director of Education at the Denver Museum of Natural
History, will present a Learning Cycle Model that guides their exhibit
designs. He'll explain how they use it to help transform the varied
personal interests of visitors into greater awareness of self and
world through science. The meeting includes a private tour of the
Museum's acclaimed Hall of Life multimedia health education exhibit.

When: Monday evening, October 16, 1995
