I use the Concise Oxford (1990 edition) as my primary dictionary, which
I replace with every new edition. As well I have the following as sort of
back up references:
The Chambers Science and Technology Dictionary;
The Cage Canadian Dictionary ;
Le Petit Robert (for French); and,
a beat up ten year old Websters College Edition
