Subject:TW employers in Vermont? (especially Burlington) From:Patrick O'Connell <titanide -at- MICRO -dot- ORG> Date:Tue, 29 Aug 1995 15:06:22 -0400
I was recently dismissed from a company here in Montreal but my SO and I
decided to hell with it and went ahead with an (albeit abbreviated)
camping vacation in Vermont. Not 24 hours ago I was in Burlington's Church
Street Marketplace in the evening, loving the atmosphere, and thinking
once again that I'd really like to live and work in Vermont (we've been
there several times now).
I know, I know -- Vermont's not exactly Silicon Valley with respect to the
computer industry, but still -- if anyone's working at or knows of such
companies in Vermont I'd really like to know about them -- via the list
or private mail, whatever you like.
I'm not necessarily looking for my next job to be in Vermont, so BTW I'd
also like to hear from anyone working in Montreal who knows of openings
where they are, or ANYWHER for that matter. This seems to be a very good
time of year for unemployed TWs -- lots of companies are hiring -- so I'm
hopeful. I've got pretty good bona fides depending on what someone's
looking for.
Thanks
Patrick "PatO'" O'Connell
