Bill Hartzer noted that those who write multimedia titles should be
called "writers". However, another term ("author") has become more
current because of the trend towards calling the production tools
"authoring software". Bill's point remains valid, however: anyone who
writes is still a writer, even if they want to call themselves an
"author". The distinction seems to be whether or not they "author" the
soundtrack, graphics, etc. in addition to writing.
