Hi Ron,

You can certainly do this. Set the margin as like and use the text box
feature (Drawing toolbar). It is important that you set the anchor to
paragraph so that the box flows with the text whenever you insert new text.

The box may have borders or not, can be overlaid over existing text, can
contain graphics of text. I use this feature to add mouse and keyboard icons
for step-by-step instructions.
