I've been following this thread with interest, mostly to get a feel for
how people would respond. I personally wouldn't want to offend anyone
with my speech and feel we should choose our words wisely, but this
politically correctness, in my opinion, has really gotten out of
hand. It's gotten to the point where you can't say anything without
people reading into what you're saying and finding any word or words
to get offended by; they'll twist your words to somehow prove their
point, even though you weren't saying that at all.
It gets tiring and frustrating to try to communicate in this kind of
environment. I agree with the statements made by the Soundman:
