Hey, Techwhirlers:

My sister is a medical technologist who has done some on
the job writing, including procedural manuals. She also
has an MBA.

She is interested in getting started in a part-time to full-time career
as a medical tech writer. Can anyone give her any pointers?
Is there a market? How to get started? How to get contracts?
Going rates?

She is also interested in writing article abstracts for databases
using her medical background as a speciality. Does anyone have
any experience in that field?

If you are willing to talk to her directly, please e-mail me your
name, address, or phone. We are based in the Phoenix, AZ
area.

Otherwise post replies to this list or email me directly at the
top address in my signature. I'll summarize this information to the list
if anyone else is interested.

Thanks in advance:
