They serve up a heap of that moldy stuff I've got in my backyard? That decaying
pile of plant matter, composed mainly of grass clippings, old leaves, leftover
vegetables and so forth? The stuff I'm planning on mulching into my garden
when it's finally done decomposing? The stuff I have to stand upwind from, as
it's so fetid?
YUKK! EWWWW! GROSS!
Now if Chez Panisse were to serve a "compote" I might be interested, I could
be in the mood for whole fruits cooked in syrup. I'm not sure that I'd want
feta cheese on it, but culinary tastes differ.
