What: Visual Literacy--Crash Course
Who: William Horton
Where: Suncoast STC Chapter (Tampa, FL)
When: April 6, 1995
William Horton, PE, an internationally renowned authority on electronic
communications techniques, will present a crash course in graphic creativity.
Producing a document that is noticed, understood, and remembered requires
visual literacy--the ability to understand, think, and communicate graphically.
You'll take a little visual literacy test to get you warmed up and thinking
creatively, after which we'll talk about how to convert words to graphics. By
looking at numerous examples of what works and what doesn't you are going to
learn valuable principles that you can use back on the job to evaluate your own
graphics.
