David Hancock asked:

> My company may be called upon to get a short user manual translated to
> Russian in the next month or so. A few of the questions that come to
> mind are:

1. How best to find a translation vendor
2. What wordprocessor can support this job
3. How to deal with Cyrillic fonts
4. How much is it likely to cost (per page, word, whatever)

Check the newgroup comp.software.international . They deal with questions
like this all the time. In fact, I remember seeing some messages about
software products that support cyrillic fonts. If you have trouble accessing
the group, let me know & I can post your questions. People can then email
you directly.

Regarding the translation cost: Here in Germany I've heard DM 50 per page.
That's about US$ 35 at today's rate. Hope this helps.
